From Satellite to Insight

FIR automates the daily harvesting, processing, and classification of multispectral raster images, delivering timely information for environmental management. Raster and vector datasets are visualized in interactive mapping applications tailored to domains such as Water Management, Forestry, and Agriculture.

Custom Data Services

A bespoke backend API service was developed to handle RDBMS-based spatial evaluations, including complex 3D overlap analysis. GDAL/OGR scripting was used extensively to manipulate both raster and vector data efficiently.

Cloud-Native Architecture

As part of the project's Architect Board, we contributed recommendations for both software and hardware components, ensuring a scalable, cloud-ready system design. The applications were deployed in a Kubernetes cluster using Helm charts, with direct integration to multiple system components and third-party APIs.

Collaborative Development

With integration across five or more development teams, the project showcased strong collaboration and agile delivery. The result is a robust geospatial data pipeline that transforms raw satellite imagery into actionable insights.
