Seamless Discovery
The application was designed to highlight a touristic region's most decorated places, allowing users to browse destinations in both an intuitive list and an interactive map. A fully responsive, mobile-first interface ensures that tourists can explore easily on any device, whether they are planning a trip at home or navigating on the go.
Modern Web Architecture
Built with Next.js 15, the app leverages CSR, SSR, and ISR to provide the best balance between speed and scalability. Optimized image handling and effective caching strategies guarantee a smooth and lightning-fast experience, even when browsing large datasets.
Smart Data Management
A custom CMS backend was developed to manage object-level metadata and geographic information, giving stakeholders full control over the content. Integration with route planning, calling features, and social media platforms at the object level provides users with direct and practical tools to organize their trips.
Cutting-Edge Mapping
The map component was built with WebGL and vector tile basemaps, ensuring modern, scalable visualization. Combined with a Docker Compose–based, cloud-ready architecture, the system is both future-proof and highly portable.
